So I had one interview today, and I have one hopeful for a full-time position (which I’m not sure I want?). I love working when it’s a fun environment, interesting and enriching, and I sure hope I can find something like that to add to my schedule. I’m very hopeful for today’s interview because it’s part-time, won’t interfere with any of my volunteer shifts, weddings, meetings or classes.
We shall see!

How do you get to the point of achieving your goals?
You have to get to the point where you need them achieved; you crave them achieved; you can’t live without them being achieved. You have to become desperate.
I’m slowly getting to the point of desperation. The more I see where I want my life to be and the more I accept that I can have my desires, the more desperate I become.
How can you become desperate for your goals?

Money. Such a small word, yet with such a huge impact.
I’ve gotten to the point where I love money and really crave it. This week, I need to make it. My three point plan:
- Find a job or job lead
- Get a Global account
- Make a list of 20 things I desire now and visualize them in my life
Now that you have your year and month goals, break them down even further into weekly and daily to-dos.
Sometimes thinking of big goals stops me in my tracks. Not in the energy sense– if the goal matches who you are and what you love, thinking about it will bring a lot of excitement and spark. It’s immobilizing in the sense that you don’t know where to begin and what to do now.
My example: I want to make $4,000 a month. This sounds amazingly great and I love this goal. But in the here and now, how would I get there? Break it down! What avenues can get me the money? What skills do I need to learn now/activities do I need to do now to achieve this amount each month?
Today, my breakdown’s allowed me to move closer to my goal: 15 cold calls, Craigslist ads, Constant Contact send outs and a couple emails.
How can you breakdown your goals today?

I guess I’ve gotten the idea of productivity affirmed in my mind. Today I was given two major tasks, though neither party knew whether I was qualified or not. First, I was given like 5 million flyers to hand out for a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society race that I’m involved with. She decided I must know a lot of people to hand them out to (HA!). Second, I was asked to film a wedding photography company give a talk at Bridal Insider’s Studio, and I need to edit it for both party’s websites.
I must embody productivity…why else would I be given these tasks? Because I am productivity queen this week, I will accomplish them too. They are officially on my to-do list 😀
Worry is the worst. It makes you feel horrid, it deteriorates your health and it causes you to look like hell. Nobody wants to worry, but everyone does.
Worrying is hard not to do, unless you know how to combat it. I found four things to be true in order to not worry:
- Keep Busy…no time to think means no time to worry.
- Decide On Your Passions and Pursue Them…how can you not love life if you’re having fun?
- Keep Away From Toxic People…say no to worriers, unsupportive friends and negative nancys.
- Be Knowledgeable…when you aren’t prepared, you are in a highly anxious state.
How can you incorporate these principles into your own life?
